Terms of
Service

The agreement between you and Pintask when you request a task, perform one, or otherwise use the platform.

Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE]

Welcome to Pintask. These Terms apply to everyone who uses the platform, whether as a customer requesting a task or as a Tasker performing one. Read them carefully — they describe your rights, your obligations, and the limits of our liability.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, requesting a task, performing a task, or otherwise using the Pintask website, mobile apps, or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use Pintask

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.

3. The Pintask marketplace

Pintask is a multi-category marketplace that connects customers requesting services with independent service providers (“Taskers”) across categories such as roadside assistance, towing, home services, moving, and more. [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] operates the platform; it does not itself perform the underlying services. Service availability, pricing, and Tasker eligibility may vary by category and location.

4. Your obligations

When using the Service you agree to: (a) provide accurate request details and location information; (b) treat Taskers and Pintask staff with respect; (c) comply with all applicable laws; and (d) pay all fees due for completed tasks. Taskers additionally agree to perform requested services with reasonable skill and care, to carry any licenses, insurance, or certifications required for their category, and to comply with Pintask’s onboarding and conduct standards.

5. Prohibited use

You agree not to: misrepresent your identity or eligibility; use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose; harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person; circumvent Pintask to transact off-platform; reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service; upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access; or use the Service to violate the rights of any third party.

6. Taskers are independent contractors

Taskers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of [COMPANY LEGAL NAME]. Pintask does not direct or control the manner or means by which Taskers perform services beyond what is required to operate the platform. Pintask is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any Tasker or customer.

7. Pricing, payments, and fees

Each request receives an upfront price estimate generated by Pintask based on category, location, time, and demand. The price you accept at booking is the price you pay, except where additional work is approved by you in advance. Pintask authorizes your payment method at booking and captures payment when the task is completed. Pintask may charge platform, service, or processing fees, which are disclosed before you confirm. All amounts are in the local currency unless stated otherwise.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations made before a Tasker is dispatched release the payment authorization. Cancellations after dispatch may incur a cancellation fee. If something goes wrong with a completed task, you can request a refund from the task’s chat thread within the window described in our FAQ. Pintask reviews refund requests in good faith and resolves them in line with our published policies.

9. Disputes and arbitration

Most issues can be resolved by contacting support from the relevant task. For unresolved disputes, you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] agree to resolve any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration body in [JURISDICTION], and not by class action. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by contacting legal@pintask.com. This section does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Pintask in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or — for Taskers — your performance of services for customers.

12. Intellectual property

The Service and all content, software, and trademarks made available through it are owned by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you submit, and you grant [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content as necessary to operate the Service.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Service you consent to the data practices described there.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or for any other reason permitted by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — will survive.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Subject to the arbitration section above, the courts located in [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not subject to arbitration.
